This post is sort of old, but I am having IP printing issues. The gentoo documentation (I RTFM many many times) goes well for a printer that is connected to your machine but I use gentoo in the office and I cannot for the life of me get IP printing to work. I don't use samba print server, just a network printer. Anyone have any advice?
