Hi, I tried to google for the topic but I found very little in general and nothing about Gentoo.
I would like to use an ISDN line as a backup for the DSL connection (I need no automated software, I could just bring up isdn when I need it). A friend of mine doesn't have DSL and he needs ISDN to connect to the internet.
Besides this, I would like to use ISDN logging capabilities to keep an history of the phone calls I receive, show the number on the monitor, etc.
Where can I find more info about ISDN configuration? Should I use the old isdn4linux or the new CAPI? How do I get the ISDN subsystem activated at boot?
Thank you!
