My Inspiron 5150 has all the sudden started loosing time, but only when it is turned off. I can turn it off for 5 secs, reboot and I run ntpdate and it is +4 sec off. What is the deal? It does this when plugged in so right now I am trying it just on the battery. Hope I don't have to get a new mobo....again. |

Maybe. It started all the sudden. When I leave it off overnight, it is off by some 4500 sec. Its not even a year old. Hope its not CMOS battery. |
