just another alsa question (no hw-mixing,only oss-drivers,..

Hi,

like 10 mio others i've got a problem with alsa.

My onboard sound chip have no hardware mixing. Is there a way
to make the volume changeable?

My manufacturer offers a oss-driver for this chip. Does this help?
Is it perhaps possible that alsa use this driver for output?

In my old pc i have a old Sounblaster Live! Value. Would it be
better to use this card?

Or have someone a good working alsa-conf for a C-Media 9739A chip
(comes with MSI KT6 Delta board with VIA KT600 / VT8237 chipset)
or could tell me how to get it work?

I've already contact MSI but until now i've got no response.
