Wenn ich "cat /proc/cpuinfo" ausführe, bekomme ich folgende Ausgabe:

Hmmm... mir fällt gerade auf, dass es im Betrieb mit eingestecktem Netzteil mehr Bogomips hat:
1114.11, Die Taktfrequenz bleibt aber gleich... |

Die wird vielleicht falsch angezeigt. Ist beim R40 (Pentium M) eines Komilitonen genauso. Es wird immer der gleiche (volle) Takt angezeigt, die Bogomips aber ändern sich jenachdem wie er die CPU taktet.

Ich habe irgendwo einmal gelesen, dass bei einem P3 die Anzahl bogomips ungefehr der Taktrate [MHz] * 2 entsprechen sollten. Das währe bei mir aber immer noch nicht der fall...
(ich sollte ~1600 bogomips haben) |

Du hast doch nicht etwa cpufreqd oder speedfreq o.ä. installiert?

Schau mal in der Kernel-Config nach ob du:
Processor Type an Features -> HPET Timer Support (HPET_TIMER)
aktiviert hast. Falls ja, stells mal aus! Bei mir lags nämlich daran..
