Hi,

For a few days now I get the following message when I do "emerge sync":
Code:

>>> Updating Portage cache... -
!!! ERROR: dev-util/devhelp-0.8.1 failed.
!!! Function , Line 1297, Exitcode 1
!!! error sourcing ebuild

aux_get(): (0) Error in dev-util/devhelp-0.8.1 ebuild. (1)
               Check for syntax error or corruption in the ebuild. (--debug)

Failed cache update: dev-util/devhelp-0.8.1
  ...done!

Anyone else get that? Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

Cheers,
Francois

I get it too. I think it may be a problem with a package in the db on the gentoo.org (etc) side. It may resolve itself with time.
