I've gotten my selinux box up and now I'd like to get a firewall solution of some kind. I emerged shorewall sinced I've used it before but I can't seem to make it work (and don't understand squat about selinux yet). If there are other selinux users out there could you tell me what firewall would be relatively easy to set up and maybe give some pointers how to start since googling and didn't help me.

This was just another case of stupid attack I occasionally get. My first ever kernel (on an installation that lasted a day) was 2.4 based. After that I have compiled tens of 2.6 based kernels and I had quite forgotten where these things are on 2.4 based kernel (if I ever knew). Because of that I had forgot to add one critical kernel option. It's working now. |
