Hello,
I was following this article when I got to the slist part and it failed telling me

Code:

slist: Server not found (0x8847) in ncp_open

After unsuccessfully messing with it for about an hour I decided to move on to the ncplogin part. This failed as well.
Just when I was about to give up I found this article.
At the bottom, there is a post by jclarke, and I ran the ncpmount command successfully. I can view/write to the mounts and now when I run slist I get a server.
My question is this: Why does that work?
I am running the 2.6.7-rc3 kernel (although I had the same problem with the 2.6.5 as well). I have 1Gb link to the NetWare 5 server (I can ping it successfully). Any insight would be great.
