well utnil kernel 2.6 ntfs isnt supported well.I read that i can only modificate files without changing their size.So how i can do that??I tried to alter a file without changing the size wiht nano or gedit and msg you dont have permision pops up...
hmm probably gedit edit and nano rewrite the whole file ok,but how i can alter a specific byte of file?? |

| It sounds stupid, but do you have write permission to the file? What mount options have you used for the partition? |

try captive (hope i've spelled it right). native ntfs driver for windows emulated under linux (not very fast, but it does it job)
