Non é bello, di solito identifica un problema hw come potrebbe essere il surriscaldamento.
Hai riprovato? Si blocca nell stesso punto?

No intendevo il fatto che con gcc 3.3 non si compila, ma puo' darsi che non c'entra.

Prova a modificare le CFLAGS con qualcosa di piú leggero.
Prova a compilare "a mano" il file incriminato

ho rifatto per la quarta volta l' emerge -u --deep world
e sembrerebbe non voler andare a buon fine, ora mi da un altro errore...

Hai provato a fare quello che ti dice? Imposta la variabile LINGUAS con la lingua che vuoi (immagino "it" per italiano).

ieri sera e tutt'ora stà ancora compilando, però il mio dubbio è perchè non mi da più quell'errore? non ho fatto nulla, l'unica cosa che è cambiata è la temperatura |

Se non ricordo male dovresti dargli emerge --verbose prog. Comunque non ci perderei l'anima perche' non sono errori rilevani, io infatti li ignoro sempre.
