I emerge horde, did the config stuff, and test.php says it doesn't have imap and mcal enabled. This is no suprise, because if you emerge without USE, then thats what you get. I tried to reemerge with it, but it didn't make a difference. I looked around on this forum for the answer, and apparently someone said "i solved it, nevermind", which of course doesn't help the next joe that needs it. :)

Just a note: I'm using postfix and mysql.

Any help is appreciated.

May be a dump question, but did you emerge horde-imp too?
At least from what i understood webmail access to your imap server is what you want....

You need to emerge mod_php with imap and mcal use flags
