Giving up on Visor connect

Well have been trying for 2 days to connect to my Visor with no joy.
Have looked & followed ever post I can find & it just doesn't seem to work with Jpilot.
cat proc/buss/usb/devices shows the connect points but Jpilot says:
IP_ERROR BIND or PI_ERROR_ACCEPT
Have not got this thing to connect once.
Have changed the port in jpilot until I am blue in the face.
I just think it really doesn't work & no one wants to admitt it.
Does my frustration show?????

If anyone really has jpilot working with kernel 2.4.25-r2 & a Visor Delux please let me know so I don't feel soooooooooooo bad.

The older kernel & jpilot version worked like a champ.

OH also am using devusbfs.
