| Being stupid as I am, I decided to use development kernel (2.5.41). Now that I want install Nvidia's driver, it says that 2.5.41 isn't supported... Do I have to redo the whole system with 2.4.19 or is there another way to get those drivers working? The development kernel works fine at general though.... |

Nobody have the patch for the lastest Nvidia driver 3123 ?
I want to play with 2.5.41.
I saw one for driver ver. 2314 but nothing for higher. |

I wrote the initial workqueues patch --- and it was bogus of me to use
workqueues.
I have a patch that uses tasklet instead which works much better; if
you want this email me off the list (this applies to anyone who wants
this stuff --- DO NOT clutter l-k with this please).

If you do get the patch, would you mind cutting and pasting it here? I'm not playing with the development kernel right now, but I may at some point (and others may as well). It might be nice to be able to cut-and-paste from here, or pull that patch off of bugs.gentoo.org, rather than spamming the poor guy with requests ...
