Oggi dopo aver dato un emerge world mi sono trovato bloccato con questo
Ma siamo sicuri che si chiami veramente any -any ???
Dopo non aver trovato il pacchetto al secondo tentativo resta bloccato cercando di connettersi a quel server...

prima hai fatto x sicurezza un emerge sync/webrsync? .comunque il pacchetto è giusto, lo trovi anche come tar.gz a http://ftp.cvut.cz/vmware/

Prova cambiando il server in make.conf, oppure inserisci il nome del pacchetto in google, scaricalo "a mano" via browser e mettilo nella cartella giusta (non so dirti esattamente quale sia la certella "giusta", ma probabilmente dovrebbe essere /usr/portage/distfiles)
E tagli la testa al toro.

La cosa è molto strana visto che lo scherzetto me lo fà solo con l'emerge world e quel pacchetto in particolare !!!
Ho provato ad emergere altri pacchetti per provare compreso un sync e tutto è andato a buon fine !!!

seccalo dal portage e rifai un sync..vediamo ke dice poi buon gentoo portage...

In che senso "seccarlo" ?? Segnarlo come masked , (tra l'altro come posso farlo ? ) andare in /usr/portage/.... e eliminare lo script...
Ps. Non sò se è correlato o meno ... posso anche modificare il file world ? Non penso di aver capito completamente la funzione di questo file.... Ho provato ad apripre il file /var/cache/edb/world ma non ci sono tutti i pacchetti installati ! ce ne sono solo alcuni e tra l'altro apparentemente senza un ordine preciso.... mi sfugge qualcosa ?  |

Dovrebbero essere i pacchetti che tu hai chiesto esplicitamente di emergere e, grossomodo, nell'ordine in cui lo hai chiesto.

| Ho risolto scaricando a mano il pacchetto in questione e mettendolo in /usr/portage/distfiles , a questo punto l'emerge world è andato avanti senza problemi ! |
