Hallo,
ich habe bereits die Foren und Bugzilla durchkämmt und so einige Probleme mit kdebase gefunden. Leider hat keine der möglichen Lösungen bei mir geholfen!
Es ist für mich ziemlich schwierig einfach mal irgenwelche anderen Einstellungen auszuprobieren, da das Problem erst nach etwa 3 Stunden kompilieren auftritt!
Das System ist völlig neu aufgezogen (also kein update!).
Ich bekomme diese Fehlermeldung:

mir ist grad aufgefallen, dass Du in Deinen USE-Flags gar kein kde angegeben hast.
Allerdings weiss ich nicht, ob er wenn Du es nachträglich einfügst alle Abhängigkeiten auflösen kann. |

man benötigt kein kde in den use-flags, um kdebase kompilieren zu können. der use-flag bringt nur kde-unterstützung für andere programme.

Irgendwie hatte ich so einiges vermurgst bei meiner Frustinstallation, nachdem mir ein defekter Speicherriegel das System zerschossen hat.
Ich habe dann mit etwas mehr Sorgfalt noch einmal angefangen und dann lief alles glatt durch!
Ich habe also keine Lösung aber einen KDE!

Habe ich bei kde3.2.2. Allerdings kommt dann noch input/output error und dann geht gar nichts mehr bis auf die Resettaste. Habe ich allerdings erst nach einem emerge -u system ggc und glibc.

Hallo,
mein Problem gelöst: ich musste meine glibc aktualisieren:
in glibc-2.3.3_pre20040420.ebuild steht die Lösung:
# Suppress unresolvable relocation against symbol `main' in Scrt1.o
# can be reproduced with compiling net-dns/bind-9.2.2-r3 using -pie
epatch ${FILESDIR}/2.3.3/${PN}-2.3.3_pre20040117-got-fix.diff
