|
|
When doing an upgrade I get this:
Code: |
--12:39:50-- ftp://ftp.gtlib.cc.gatech.edu/pub/kde/stable/3.2.3/src/kde-i18n/kde-i18n-se-3.2.3.tar.bz2
=> `/usr/portage/distfiles/kde-i18n-se-3.2.3.tar.bz2'
Resolving ftp.gtlib.cc.gatech.edu... failed: Host not found.
!!! Couldn't download kde-i18n-se-3.2.3.tar.bz2. Aborting.
|
Problem is, there is no such thing as kde-i18n-se! I know that there is a kde-i18n-sv though in portage.
Anyway, my upgrade is blocket because of this. I can't do "unmerge" because it says nothing is there so how do I get rid of this entry so that I can continue my update? _________________ Punk is an attitude

There's a kde-i18n-se as well... what does your LINGUAS variable say? That's the thing that's controlling what it wants to download. _________________ No-one's more important than the earthworm. |

LINGUAS? It doesn't say anything. Haven't heard about this one before. What should it be?
Thanks for your reply btw... _________________ Punk is an attitude

Hmm.... if kde-i18n can't find said variable, the ebuild dies and tells you to set it. You must have it set in /etc/make.conf somewhere. _________________ No-one's more important than the earthworm. |

Hold on, I checked my make.conf and found it. Just forgotten about it:
So I exported it in the console where I am doing my update and ran emerge -uD again but I am still getting the error. There is no such file:
Code: |
Connecting to ftp.kde.org[131.220.60.97]:21... connected.
Logging in as anonymous ... Logged in!
==> SYST ... done. ==> PWD ... done.
==> TYPE I ... done. ==> CWD /pub/kde/stable/3.2.3/src/kde-i18n ... done.
==> PASV ... done. ==> RETR kde-i18n-se-3.2.3.tar.bz2 ...
No such file `kde-i18n-se-3.2.3.tar.bz2'.

I am confused. What does LINGUAS do?
Hmmm. Had a flash of brilliance after getting this far with my reply
I set changed se to sv in LINGUAS and bob's yer uncle!
