I'm having troubles with adding sound support on my setup. I've configured my kernel like this:
Code:
<*> Sound card support

Code:
<*> Advanced Linux Sound Architecture
<*> Sequencer support
<*> OSS Mixer API
<*> OSS PCM (digital audio) API
[*] OSS Sequencer API

Code:
<*> EMU10K1 (SB Live! & Audigy, E-mu APS)

I get this error while booting:
Code:
* Loading ALSA drivers...
* Using ALSA OSS emulation
* Could not detect custom ALSA settings. Loading all detected alsa drivers.
* Unable to find any ALSA drivers. Have you compiled alsa-drivers correctly?

maybe its because u have the oss drivers in yer kernel to. I would jus leave the ALSA drivers in the kernel and take out the OSS drivers. Doesnt work then this is a stupid anser :)
