I tried it, then it said it was masked, so I gave in the keyword I found on the forum somewhere, but then it hang trying to download a package from dev.gentoo.org.... |

Here's how I did it.
I'm on a complete ~x86 system (even GCC, kernel sources, and glibc) and have never had a problem (except that ck-sources won't boot for who-know-why). That said, I have Code: | ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" | in my /etc/make.conf, and so I just did Code: | # emerge -av "=xorg-x11-6.7.0" | (I have heard of many problems with 6.7.0-r1, so I'm sticking with 6.7.0 for now) _________________ ~~ Peter: Programmer, Mathematician, STEM & Free Software Advocate, Enlightened Agent, Transhumanist, Fedora contributor
