A quick thanks to the AMD64 Forum

Howdy, I just wanted to say thanks to all the folks here on this forum and the people who maintain the AMD64 specific installation docs. I've just successfully installed Gentoo on my new AMD64 3200+ / ASUS K8V. There were probably 10 places along the way I would have reached an impasse if not for all the help given by and for members of this forum.

So far I've got a pretty basic Gnome 2.6 build working, along with a few utilities and the correct NVidia drivers and so forth. I'm new to Gentoo (having been a Red Hat / Fedora user for quite a long time), and I must say that portage has me feeling giddy in a way that I havent felt since the first time I got linux running on an old 386 a decade ago.

Anyway, thanks for the help. And thanks for making free software work.
