Is there any way I can get rid of the "Applications" and "Actions" text labels in my gnome menu? I think I've seen people with just the foot icon in their menu bar. Also, If I remove the labels, does the "actions" window get its own icon? It doesnt have one at the moment.

Right click on the panel and choose add to panel -> Main Menu
