Hallo zusammen,
hatte gerade folgenden Thread geöffnet:

Ohh Mann. Und Leider hatte ich die Quelle für den Patch über sehen und diesen selbst im Netz gesucht. Daraufhin bin aich auf http://www.aichler.net/gentoo/bootsplash/ gestoßen und habe von dort einen Patch geladen und ausgeführt. "./install.sh"

Seit dem Ausführen erscheinen beim starten den System nur Fehlermeldung von /sbin/rc. Das sieht ungefähr so aus:

Bevor ich das oben genannte Script ausgeführ habe, erschienen mehrere Meldungen das ein Backup gefahren wurde, und zwar von:

* have to patch some files out of the baselayout package
* (/sbin/rc, /sbin/functions.sh, /sbin/runscript.sh, /etc/init.d/halt.sh).
* If you want to proceed, I will make a backup of each file
* (/sbin/rc~, /sbin/functions.sh~, /sbin/runscript.sh~ /etc/init.d/halt.sh~).


Die Daten ohne ~ habe ich gelöscht und die alten wiederhergestellt. Die Fehlermeldung bestehen aben weiterhin. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit das System wieder so zu starten wie davor? Kann ich rc neukompilieren bzw installieren?

P.S.
Kann man eigentlich das runscript tool komplett neu emergen?
Gibt es da eine möglichkeit?

Zum PS: Also die ganzen Programme dazu sind in baselayout (/sbin/rc /sbin/runscript.sh usw.). Die ganzen anderen Dateien sind in den Paketen (/etc/init.d/* /etc/conf.d/*).
Rausfinden welche Pakete das machen kann man mit etcat -b /etc/init.d.
