i have bought this router and i am facing a very strange problem which is that i can't login the web nterface of this router using a browser on linux or even using firefox on windows
only using IE on windows only
why si that , can anyone plz explain this to mee |

ya it works fine but as i said i can't configure the router from linux or even from firefox on windows
only IE can open and load the web interface of this router which is soooo ugly cause i was planning to remove windows from this machine
and i won't keep windows just cause i can't config this #%^#%^ router from linux
edited: also konqueror can't load it :S |

Do you get an IP address in the same subnet as the router when you run Linux?
Can you connect to it by IP address e.g. http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ? _________________ Regards,

yes i can and i get the same local p 10.0.0.1 as i get it on windows
and i can browse the net and ping anything outside the Lan and ssh to my machine at home and use the net very normally
the strange thing here that firefox on windows can't also open the page which means that there is something wrong with the router when browsing it using anything else but IE
maybe that is caused due to that the router is based on windows NT and IE6 |
