|
|
Hi, I've been using WineX (3.x) and it worked fine for me. Until it crashed while I was playing some game. I haven't been able to start WineX again since then.
I've tried to delete all configs and use the default configs, but that didn't work either. I can't start _any_ application anymore, doesn't matter if it's a game or just a winzip-sfx file.
All I get this error message:
Code: | ERROR: wineserver exiting unexpectantly! |
I recently gave Cedega a try, but got excactly the same error.
The strange this is, that it works as root and as any other user than my normal/main account. As I deleted all of winex' configs it doesn't really make any sense to me....
Any ideas?
Thanks. _________________ Moon may be smaller than Earth, but it's further away. |

Hmm well, not only root can do it. Every user can, except for my standard user... o_O _________________ Moon may be smaller than Earth, but it's further away. |
