help me login in to fvwm only using startx

can someone tell me how to login to fvwm by only typing startx? what commands do i need to use to do that?

What do you mean by 'login'? If you're starting fvwm via startx from your account you are already logged in and don't need to type your password again. If you want to start fvwm with startx, edit your /etc/rc.conf and set the XSESSION var accordingly.

Or put "exec fvwm" in ~/.xinitrc
