|
|
I just checked again, the release note is already in the download area since yesterday, as well as 2.6.7-love1.b0rked.bz2
BTW Is there a better way of getting to know, when a new love is released, than to search the forum for "love" in the kernel & hardware section?
I know it has been widely discussed before, but it really would be so much easier, if love would find it's way into portage. Far too much people are using love-sources to be ignored. I don't understand the official statement "too unstable", because when masking it ~x86 and telling "MAY BE REALLY UNSTABLE" in the description, what the hell should go wrong? mm-sources also may b0rk your system, but who cares? _________________ Las torturas mentales de la CIA |

i agree... should we formerly ask developers for that or it has already be done? |

This matter already has been discussed to death, but it didn't change anything. It's a real pitty, especially as Steel is now a gentoo dev. _________________ Las torturas mentales de la CIA |

Maybe someone could setup a mailing list to announce new releases... _________________ Per Ardua Ad Astra

Purely by co-incidence, I happened to notice the love sources CMS page was back up. No news about The B0rking, but it might be the place to ask _________________ Don't let THEM immanentize the Eschaton! |

I added the love-sources to the portage of gentoo.de. If you want to use the mixed (offical portage and the one from gentoo.de) do this:
Add this line to /etc/make.conf
SYNC="rsync://rsync16.de.gentoo.org/gentoo-merged" |
