Lexmark 1100 (X1150)

Hello!

I just got a new printer-scanner and trying to set it up in Gentoo. With no luck so far... I tried the lm1100 driver from foomatic - the most it gives is that "USB port not available" or "Media tray empty".

I also tried the driver from linuxprinting.org - it does just a bit better, i.e. printer pretentds to grab paper.

If anyone's got any idea of how to make it work, i'd highly aprecite that. Probably someone will even point me to scanner driver for it, cause sane sais that it's not supported.

If noone answers soon, then I'll probably try to change that to HP, as they seems to suport Linux much better.

I got my Lexmark X1150 printing

I used the http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Lexmark_Printers page and the z600 driver.

Yes/No, just print not scan function I'didn't yet try the tests with the lexmark driver and the sane driver too.
