Hello all. After much digging, i've found out that the nVidia drivers "seem" to be the cause of my hibernate stuff not working. Both swsup and swsup2 seem to fail under all the kernels i've tried (2.6.7 vanilla at the moment). Oddly, under both windows and linux suspend to ram doesnt work but thats another issue i reckon. I placed a new DSDT and swsup2 in the kernel and it all works ok under xorg and 2.6.7 so long as i use nv rather than nvidia as the driver. Does anyone have any recommendations as to which nVidia drivers to use? Everyone says that all the drivers after 4496 are b0rked so i stuck with the early ones i found at www.minion.de |

So, with the older drivers were you able to get Hibernate -suspend to disk- to work? |
