I am looking to buy a good flatbed scanner with an automatic document feeder. Anyone have some reccomendations? I would like so stay in the sub - $500 range...

Have you tried cross listing the list of scanners supported by SANE for starters (http://www.sane-project.org/sane-supported-devices.html)? Sure I have. But surly people have more experience with scanners on linux than a "complete" listing on sane's site.
I have looked it over for days now...
I really like the new Epson Perfection 3170 PHOTO but it shows unsupported on sane's site...but with a "future" driver. I did however find one blurb that is works...but the ADF is key....
I am looking to heavily use the ADF. One at a time sucks.
