Alright, it all seemed to start after i rebooted my server once. i went to go and start my counter strike server and i got a NET_SENDPACKET error, but my UT2004 server ran fine and then i was like maybe the CS server will run if i reboot it again, but when it came back up no gameservers would start.
About the SMTP, i dont know if its related to this, because right before the first reboot i had just gotten smtp-auth working, then i rebooted to make sure taht i had everything set to start on boot. but when you try to connect to it with a client like outlook, it takes like a minute and 15 seconds to send an email, it just sits there for that long and then sends the email.
I tried disabling iptables to see if i had the firewall blocking it or something, no dice.
any help? im definetly a linux n00b so anything you have would help, thanks!! |
