hello,
i have vanilla-kernel 2.6.7 with compiled in alsa-support (and the oss mixers etc.)+ emuxxx für audigy-soundcard
i also emerged alsa-oss and alsa-utils
amixer seems to work, but if i want unmute my soundcard with "amixer set Master/PCM 100 unmute", i get a error about "unmute" is option too much, or something like that...
so i leave out the "unmute" and linux sets the rate to "100" at Master and PCM 
well, if i start with aplay a wav oder with mp3blaster a mp3 i got a error like this:

The Sound starts, and I hear the first one or two seconds...than soundloop and the error-message
Any idea?

ps: i am using udev, but i dont think this is here a problem?
