ho due interfacce grafiche kde e fluxbox... ma quando digito startx mi parte kde come posso fare partire fluxbox al posto di kde? grazie

approfitto di questo thread e non ne apro uno nuovo.
c'è una cosa non capisco nonostante abbia cercato in giro per i file di configurazione e la doc.
voglio usare xfce4 con l'opzione rox --pinboard=PIN
se creo il file .xinitrc e faccio partire xfce4 da gdm rox non parte, se non uso gdm ma startx invece è tutto a posto.
cosa devo modificare, che non riesco ad arrivarci? :?:

Allora vai in /etc/X11/Sessions e dentro troverai il file xfce4, lo editi e cambi

immaginavo una cosa del genere, e siccome non ho quel file l'ho creato così:
/usr/bin/xfce4
/usr/bin/rox --pinboard=PIN

e per rox che mi serve infatti quell'opzione, ma come esco da X e ci rientro, mi viene caricato solo xfce4 e non rox con l'opzione di cui sopra

Ma scusa allora non c'e' semplicemente un file di autostart in xfce4 dove metti quella linea di rox?

fatto grazie, dovevo semplicemente aggiungere
rox --pinboard=PIN
in /etc/xfce4/xinitrc
invece di ~/.xinitrc

l'ho messo nella home dir dell'utente e gli ho messo il . davanti

la path è /home/mioutente/.xinitrc

se digito startx mi parte kde boh....

controlla in /etc/rc.conf

c'è la voce XSession, guarda se alle volte non ci fosse da commentare quella riga
