Hello, I have a Dell Latitude XPi CD. According to Dell the latptop has Texas Instruments PCI 1131 CardBus controller. I use gentoo-dev sources 2.6.7-r6. I bought a WG511 wireless pc-card. I have followe the verious howtos on the forums but none have worked for me.

I am a little confused as to what modules I need to have running. From the reading I have doen the TI's run off the i82092 module but when I modprobe I get "device not present". When I use the Yenta_socket it works fine with a ne2000 compatable card but when I pop the WG511 in and use the prism54 module dmesg is flooded with tx buffer full errors and my pcmcia slots lock up.

Any help would be great.
I know it would be better if I had the actually Dmesg output but unfortunately I am on a differant computer.

Thanks for the help. However my problem isn't finding the right driver for the nic. Its figuring out why the driver locks my pcmcia slots up after being in the laptop for 10 seconds.
