Well, I'm configuring Love-Sources 2.6.7-rc3-r2 (or is it rc2-r3?), and I don't know which option to enable for my network card. Is there a way to check? Does dmesg possibly show which driver it used? _________________ old outdated sig |

Couple of ways you can go about this. `dmesg` will display your card type IF your kernel was configured for it, either by compiled in or module. Your best bet would probably to use `lspci` (from the pciutils e-build) to identify specifically what card you are using. Also, from the LiveCD, you can `lsmod` to see what modules were loaded. With a list of modules, you can then use the "Help" to view all the different network devices in your kernel and read what module is created. _________________ Gentoo systems:
