What is the proper procedure to get DVI working correctly on a LCD monitor?
I've added TrueType(FreeType) to the XF86Config, and using the Nvidia driver, but it still doesn't look right. It's not as clear as it is in windows or my LCD at work. The only thing that is different is I'm using DVI and a different monitor at home than at work. How do i get it to look right ? |

You may be able to find applications that can enhance things that are displayed for DVI.
Not all monitors "look" the same and the one you have at work may be a much higher quality monitor.
The fonts and graphics driver you have installed will somewhat improve the visual quality but not by much.
If it does not "look right" it is usually because of the actual monitor being lower quality or just you are used to different settings. _________________ See the famous Niko Roberts at http://www.nikoroberts.com |
