I was looking for a possibility to bind the windows-key on Gnome to do useful stuff (for example Windows-E to start nautilus). I opened the "Keyboard Shortcuts" menu in preferences:///, but whenever I type the windows-key trying to bind it to a shortcut it only switches to "disabled".
Is there any possibility to make use of these keys? I'm using Gnome and Sawfish. |

sisob: Could you please give me some insight on acme. I installed it but it only seems work for media keys/functions. I read another listing that said to put microsoftpro as XbdModel in XF86Config to use the windows key in Gnome. Have you tired this? I am not at home now but I will try the XF86Config method unless you can give me some information on acme.
Thanks
