In fstab I mount a smbfs Filesystem from a Win2k Server.
This works fine, until I access some files from my gnome/nautilus, e.g. renaming, copying or simply open in scite.
Then the accessed files keeps the 'in use' state and no one else can open it rw that means rename or edit it - until I reboot the computer.
My questions:
- Is this problem known somewhere?
- Error or configuration issue?
- Any hints to configure the locking mechanismn? (fstab -> mountoptions or smb.conf)?
Thanks,
