Hi
I don't feel certain in autoload/hotplug/etc. - things so maybe this is a stupid question but I couldn't find a solution - maybe I seareched with wrong searchstrings ...
So here's my question - i got a webcam (Philips ToUCam Fun II) and everthing went fine so far. But I need to give the pwc-kernel-module some parameters at startup. How can I handle this in gentoo?
Thanks
Jux |

Add them to the loadmodule line in /etc/modules.autoload/2.x
This works in every distro by the way.
Of course, if you have built it into the kernel you have to give the parameters on the kernel command line (in your bootloader). _________________ >>> emerge (3 of 7) mcse/70-293 to /
