mplayer and libdv

I emerged libdv for kino.... but now when i try to run mplayer...
mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libdv.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
:?:

any suggestions? should i try unmerging it?

duhhhh... just went to bugs.gentoo.org... all i have to do is reemerge mplayer.... still sorta weird

it would seem this exact same problem affects transcode, too. The solution was to re-emerge transcode.
