|
|
whenever I change the Driver "nv" section in XFree86Config to Driver "nvidia"(after emerging nvidia-glx and nvidia-kernel, k wont start. it says that it cant load the nvidia driver. Ive tried typing opengl-update nvidia, but it still wont work, and to get into x again i have to type opengl-update with no arguments. Has anyone had this problem? |

Is the kernel module loading? i.e. if you do an 'lsmod' are you seeing NVdriver in the list of loaded moduled? If not, try manually loading it with a "modprobe NVdriver". |
