i have set up alsa no problem,i can play a sample no problem from the command line .enlightenment complains that EsounD was not present when i compiled enlightenment .do i need to emerge EsounD and recompile enlightenment ?? .any help appreciated thanks _________________ "Live long and Prosper" |

You can probably get away with just emerging EsounD. _________________ Hats off to everyone in leadership, developmental, or administrative capacities for Gentoo Linux. Your hard work is very much appreciated. |

You shoeld add "esound" to your use flag, and recompile enlightenment.

Just do a emerge enlightenment, because you're not upgrading anything.
