I will admit that I am a noob. I just got Gnome running which took me like a day and a half to get all up, however my mouse is not working.
I have a Logitech cordless mouseman wheel. when i run the livecd it seems to load fine. I was wondering if you guys would be able to tell me how to get that loaded. I suppose I just need to run a certain emerge something, that or load some module. If you guys can help me, anything is better than nothing.
Thanks |

Code: | nano /etc/X11/XF86Config |
or
Code: | nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf |
in there you have to set up the mouse protocols and buttons.
is it a USB mouse? If so, you have to set up USB in the kernel. there should be a post in the docs/tips/tricks forum explaining in detail this procedure. |
