|
|
In Nautilus, I have an ISO file I want to burn. Normally I would right click and select "Create CD". However, on two particular iso files, which I created with bin2iso, right clicking on the iso file changes their icons from ISO icons to MP3 icons, and the right click menu is similar to that when I click an MP3.
Does anyone else have this odd behavior? _________________ BitWise Chat |

lol... I tried right-clicking and it made my DVD iso disappear until I reloaded ^_^.
Edit->Write to CD should work though (didn't check - DVDs take too long). |

Thanks for the advice but no thanks. I'll wait for 2.8! In the meanwhile I'll try this in Windows _________________ BitWise Chat |

or just use cdrecord to do it:
Code: | cdrecord -v speed=$SPEED dev=$BUS,$ID,$LUN -data image.iso |
You can use 'cdrecord -scanbus' to get the SCSI bus, id, and LUN numbers. It'll usually be something like 0,1,0. |

Or you use a 2.6 kernel without SCSI emulation, and use this line:
Code: | cdrecord -dao dev=/dev/cdrom image.iso |

I think the ISO files were just busted. Thanks for the help, and if it happens again I'll post up _________________ BitWise Chat |
