|

HI,
I use evolution and imap, where my evolution runs on both my desktop (with imap there) and my notebook connecting to the desktop's imap directories.
What I need to do now, however, is to make a copy of the emails onto my notebook, but I don't know how. If I don't connect to the desktop, will the emails remain on the notebook, or do I have to make the copy locally or something?
Thanks. _________________ [LRU] |

so would have evolution. but it's quite some time i used kmail - how is it handled? do you have to explicitly enter the offline mode and if you once forget to do that you don't have any mail at all (like with evolution)? or is there an option which downloads the mails and synchronizes with the server and vice versa? this is what offlineimap does ... _________________ Easily backup up your system? klick

You just setup a disconnected imap account and thats it. Works just like Outlook on the windows side. |
