|
|
I just have gentoo installed, and restarted fine, and trying to get other things installed.
I remeber with the boot cd, I can use the mouse to copy and paste text, I've searched around, but only find how to setup mouse in X.
How to I get the mouse working? is it some options in compiling kernel??
Thanks!! |

awesome, NeddySeagoon!
I edited the file:
and then added it to default level with
Code: | rc-update add gpm default |
and also ran Code: | /etc/init.d/gpm start |
then it runs just fine, and after reboot the mouse works too.
Actually, I have this package emerged already.
I love gentoo so much after I got it running, so easy to update, maintain and add new features.
now I'm on to wireless and xorg-x11 and to choose a wm.
