This is one of my favorites. It's very clean and uncluttered (except for the left menu of doom inherited from the current site).

Actually, if our design is eventually considered as an option, I think we could go over some purple decorations insted of green, in case that was developers' choice

| Larry the Cow was a bit frustrated with his web site. The Linux web sites seemed to be just a bunch of the same old stuff. Nothing cool, nothing professional. Then Larry launched a web design contest. He was impressed. He found out that the Gentoo users were not only Linux users, but were also keen on web design and linux artwork. All that Larry was dreaming about was here on the forum, one template after the other, with lots of nice colors, photos and fonts. Larry opened his mail box and could see all the eye-candy web sites that he was dreaming about. All of the sudden Larry the Cow felt Gentoo was also a nicer distro, and he liked it. |
