I am configuring aterm, and I have pretty much everything how I want it. There is just one thing I cannot figure out: the zoom level. I have an artwiz font as my term font, but it's a bit small (already at biggest size in .Xdefaults). If I hit SHIFT++ (hold down SHIFT key and PLUS sign key), the term window gets bigger, and so does the font. This is how I'd like it, but I don't want to have to hit SHIFT++ twice everytime I open up aterm.

Is there some X resource I am overlooking in the man page to set this in .Xdefaults? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

bitmap fonts such as the artwiz pack are not scalable.

you'll have to make due with the sizes provided by the font.

I realize that. Maybe I didn't make myself clear. I'm not an X11 guru, but I'm pretty sure this shift++ zoom feature is an X feature, and is not aterm specific. I know this because I just hit shift++ in firefox while typing this message and the text view zoomed in, just as it did in aterm.

I am not asking to scale the artwiz fonts. I am asking if there is a setting to put into ~/.Xdefaults so that aterm automatically starts at the desired 'zoom level', so I don't have to hit shift++ when I start up aterm.
