|
|
I do not have a
Code: |
Bootsplash configuration --->
[*] Bootup splash screen
|
option in my kernel. There is a "Bootsplash configuration --->" line but no "[ ] Bootup splash screen" option.
Kernel is a linux-2.6.7-gentoo-r8
Did a
Code: | ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~ppc" emerge -av bootsplash |
followed by
Code: |
# /sbin/bootsplash_patch
* Patching the kernel (branch: 2.6) in /usr/src/linux ...
* It appears your kernel has already been patched.
|
So I am confused about not having an Bootup splash screen option. |

The kernel sources you're using don't have the ppc patch, unless I'm mistaken. Try pegasos-sources, or patch against the vanilla-sources. _________________ Osmos.org
