Having fiddled enough to hose my YDL 2.2 install, I was thinking of reinstalling with gentoo. However, if no one can get button emulation working there really is no point (I refuse to drag a USB mouse around with me everywhere). Are the people who are having problems all using Wallstreets or is this a configuration nightmare for all laptops?

Mouse button emulation should work on any Mac with Gentoo, as it's all kernel stuff. You just need to know how to enable and configure it:
