When I tried to do mount/mnt/cdrom
I got the following problem:
mount: Block device /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 is write-protected, mounting read only.
How can I fix this? _________________ Thanks,

Well it's not really a problem, just a warning.
In your /etc/fstab file, a line should mention /mnt/cdrom. Just add the 'ro' option (read only) in the option section. E.g: Code: | /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto, user,ro 0 0

Also that makes complete sence as a CD is Read-Only. That is one error you can ignore as you will always get it unless you do as jayk said and pass the ro option. _________________ Come and play in my land |
