gnome themes/colors

hi, is there a way to turn off gnome's theme colors in certain apps? for example, i'm using mozilla and my gnome theme has dark colored controls (buttons, menus, etc) and i don't want the pull downs and buttons and stuff like that to be the same dark color in mozilla as they are in other apps. i can't find anywhere to change this, but someone might know if it's possible or not. thanks a lot.
